More About Me

George N. Vasvatekis

George N. Vasvatekis has been active in real estate sales for nearly 16 years, serving as both an agent and a broker since 2010. He brings extensive experience in development, historic restoration, investment properties, and property management—offering clients a strategic and well-rounded perspective.

In today’s real estate environment, advice, counsel, and experience can yield a greater return on investment when you work with partners who understand how to structure a successful transaction for all parties—whether buying, selling, or leasing. Trust, as with all relationships, is the fundamental principle that supports a positive outcome. When choosing advisors, it should always be the foundation for the relationship to work.

With a background spanning business, political consulting, government, and service in the U.S. Navy Reserve, George provides thoughtful insight and disciplined guidance across a wide range of real estate needs.

A passionate advocate for preservation, George has championed the protection and redevelopment of historically significant properties for more than a decade. He is a four-time recipient of the Paul & Niki Tsongas Award for Historic Preservation, the recipient of the Massachusetts Historical Commission’s 41st Annual Preservation Award, and was recognized as a Next Generation Leader in preservation and development. In 2022, he was named one of Cape & Plymouth Business Media’s “40 Under 40.”

Committed to community and the arts, George serves on the Board of Directors of On the Isle, a theater company and actor’s colony in Siasconset on Nantucket, and was appointed by Governor Charles D. Baker to the Board of Trustees of Cape Cod Community College. He proudly serves as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, based out of Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island.

George works with clients across Nantucket, Cape Cod, the South Shore, and throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Alongside his wife, Mara Vasvatekis, he brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every relationship—combining local expertise with global reach through the Coldwell Banker network. George and Mara make their home in Siasconset and enjoy an active lifestyle centered around family, travel, and the communities they serve.
